TERMS AND CONDITIONS as at 01/07/2017 PAYMENTS: Payment options are enclosed within the invoice. You may choose to pay by:-
Direct bank deposit (Preferred method of payment). Our bank details (BSB, Account No.) are provided on the last page of each invoice. No cost to the client.
Cash (in person for the invoiced amount - no change carried with driver)
Company cheque (personal cheques not accepted unless by arrangement)
Credit cards /Debit Card (Pay now button directly inside the electronic invoice version - 2.1% per transaction) - Transaction fees apply for all payments and will be added to your invoiced amount automatically.
WORK ORDERS: Work orders from clients will be scheduled for action as soon as possible or where a specific date has been negotiated. Delays in commencing work orders will occur due to overrun issues, illness, or poor weather conditions. These events are unforeseen and work will be re-scheduled where necessary. Commercial/ Real Estate Agents/ Body Corporates: You agree not to request repairs if you do not have sufficient funds to cover the cost of the works required in your end client’s account. This includes work orders issued by housing groups, body corporates or real estate agents on behalf of the end client in relation to their account operated on their behalf. It is unacceptable and an offence to issue a work order knowing the end client(lessor) has no funds in their account and will be unable to effect a payment in full within the terms of the invoice. Should an un-financed work order be issued and work is completed and non-payment occurs, this offence will be reported to police and legal action will occur through the courts (QCAT). In this instance, the issuing agent/business has no defence as they acted fraudulently knowing their end client account was insufficient to make good a payment and On-it Maintenance Service acted in good faith. All Clients - Ownership of the goods/services will not pass to the end client until payment is received in full. TERMS : If work is undertaken/commenced/requested, it is clearly understood by all clients listed on the invoice you guarantee and agree to make payment in full when the job is completed or within the terms stated on each invoice, if provided (7days, 14 days, other as listed).Terms are provided as an extension of credit to our valued clients although payment is due the same day as the invoice. Reminder notices will be emailed when payment is due, if terms are provided. By requesting and having work done, all clients accept and agree to these conditions - no exceptions. ESTIMATES : Estimates are not the final price or form a firm contract. It is only an indication of the work cost involved and the final price maybe higher or lower depending on labour and materials required to complete the job requested fully.The estimate does not include any unforeseen faults/defects upon disassembly whereby the work required is enlarged, the price increases from suppliers or extra materials and labour required to complete the work requested. If the work is completed under the estimated price then this will be reflected in the end invoice. If the work proceeds then it is understood the client fully understands and accepts these conditions. Clients are to advise pay method when accepting Estimates. Estimated price valid for 30 days from date of issue. WORKMANSHIP STATEMENT (Customer Peace of Mind - 30 day limited warranty) On-it Maintenance Service takes all care required for each job and will cover all labour and minor consumable materials used on the invoice (nails, screws, fillers, etc.) (but not fully manufactured goods eg: light bulbs) for a period of 30 days from invoice date (unless period otherwise stipulated on the invoice) to be delivered/provided/supplied to the client as originally requested to be in good condition (at the time of supply/delivery) in the same quantity/amounts as original. Extra materials requested by the client are additional and will be charged accordingly. This workmanship statement does not remove or replace any statute rights that may relate. We carry insurance in the event of work unable to be rectified or accident. Exclusions: Second hand items repaired, items with moving parts, damage caused by the client or third party, weathering or fallout and the like. Claims for mowing. Paint matching colours supplied as per computer scan as close as possible to the original sample. Any manufactured parts used may carry their own manufacturer warranty and On-it Maintenance Service will not cover these items and claims for these must be referred to the respective manufacturer/agent. Some materials supplied may also have their own separate manufacturer warranties. Claims: Claims upon On-it Maintenance Service for workmanship or material faults must be made within 30 days from the invoice date and will not be considered outside this time frame. Yard maintenance workmanship claims must be claimed the same day as the work ended - no exceptions. This warranty cannot be transferred and only applies to the invoiced client and the property listed on the invoice. Any claim will be at the discretion of management which will be limited to either rectification of the work or partial refund whereby rectification cannot be undertaken, within reason. PRIVACY: On-it Maintenance Service will not disclose your details to anyone. 3rd party banking or credit card transactions or legal purposes where required are the exception. Your details are stored electronically by a third party invoicing company or a financial institute for credit card purchases and will not be shared or sold for marketing. Your details maybe used internally for direct mailing for marketing purposes by ourselves. No files are kept when making/transacting a direct bank deposit by us. Photos of work performed maybe used for marketing purposes but will not disclose people or locations. The use of Facebook or other social media is a public forum and you join using your own security settings at your own risk. Our social media pages are free for the public to join and any content you add is at your own risk. Our business web page is a secured web site and verified as secured when visiting or making on-line enquiries (emails). No financial transactions are taken via this web site. On-it Maintenance Service is not responsible for any on-line transactions/payments that are incorrectly entered by the client.
